PRO Ref. HO/107/758/25 Folios 29 - 31 The parishes comprising the Depwade union were 21 parishes from the Depwade Hundred: Ashwellthorpe, Aslacton, Bunwell, Carlton Rode, Forncett St. Mary, & St. Peter, Fritton, Fundenhall, Hapton, Hardwick, Hempnall, Morningthorpe, Moulton Great, Shelton, Stratton St. Mary & St. Michael, Tacolneston, Tasburgh, Tharston, Tibbenham & Wacton. Plus 13 parishes from the Earsham Hundred: Alburgh, Billingford, Brockdish, Denton, Earsham, (part of Menham), Needham, Pulham St. Mary & St. Mary Virgin, Redenhall, the chapelry of Harleston & the township of Wortwell, Rushall, Starston and Thorpe Abbots. Also included in this Union were 9 parishes of the Diss Hundred Burston, Dickleburgh, Diss, Frenze, Gissing, Scole, Shimpling, Thelveton, Thorpe Parva & Tivetshall St. Margaret & St. Mary. A total of 43 parishes. The Union House was built in 1836/37 and could house 400 inhabitants. All inhabitants were born in Norfolk. The three members of the Staff not born in Norfolk, have been marked as such.
