We are all conversant with that "lost" relative we cannot find, only to discover via census returns for other counties that they had gone 'walk about'. Probably seeking other employment or marrying a person from another county. It is obvious after a while that our ancestors moved around far more than we ever thought.

We are therefore endebted to Jean Greenwood and Pat Mason who have collected these strays for many years and have now donated them to Norfolk History.
