Those surnames marked with an * appear to be folks visiting for Ingham Fair (and residing at Mason's Inn). A clear strong mark is placed in the margin beside these names, so they may not be local people. The description gives an increase in population due to Ingham Fair, on both sections but only one section clearly indicates these are the possible increases.
